Where do you take your out-of-town visitor on a photowalk? Well, for me at least, the best place I can think of is my own backyard: Chinatown. Following our lunch, Andrew (in town from New York City) and I headed east through Gastown, picked up Mari, and wandered around the shooting in Vancouver's Chinatown for an hour or so. The best thing about Chinatown is that I find something different to shoot on every excursion. January 2, 2009.

I've shot New Sun Ah Hotel ("Standing on the corner") and the Foo's Ho Ho sign ("Foo's Ho Ho") before, but it was nice to have a new take on the scene this time around... it would seem that having a fresh set of eyes around always provides some additional inspiration.
