Chris Brown 'Changed Man' Lyrics Sound Like a Rihanna Apology

Is Chris Brown a changed man or is the online leak of a new song more manipulation by a young man desperate to revive a damaged career? The opening lyrics of Chris Brown's leaked song Changed Man certainly sound like an apology to ex-girlfriend Rihanna, who he assaulted the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards.

Changed Man is the third leaked track from Chris Brown's upcoming album Graffiti; Smash and Not My Fault were leaked in June. Changed Man is said to be the first single from Graffiti, a claim that Chris Brown's record label Jive Records denies. Fand of Chris Brown claim that it is clear the song was being developed before the February 2009 assault occurred if you listen carefully to the backtrack.

Despite the denials from Chris Brown's reps, the Changed Man lyrics definitely sound like an apology to Rihanna. Chris Brown has recently gone on record saying he has wanted to publicly apologize to Rihanna since the day after he hurt her but on the advice of his lawyers he did not. If Chris Brown did record the new track the Changed Man lyrics will likely become the apology his disenchanted fans have been wanting to hear from day one.

"What do you do when the truth isn't quite enough/ They looking at you telling you that we need to break it up," Brown sings on the melancholy track. "You need to do what you do, it's me and you in love/ But I'mma make it up to you and show the world I'm a changed man."

The three-minute track details Brown pledging his devotion and trying to atone for his mistakes.

A rep for Brown's label, Jive Records, however, told MTV News on Friday (August 14) that the song was actually recorded "some time ago."

Brown has been working on his next album, Graffiti, tentatively scheduled for a release by the end of the year; no new material from the project has been released yet. "Changed Man" will not be the first single, according to the rep.

seriously the public needs to get a life and stop trying to drag this star down,rather then help the young boy pick himself up since he really is amazing and is a great person. everyone screws up, leave him alone. makin this into a mountain aint gonna help nobody lett the boy produce his amazing music and stfu.
