Chris Brown Apology Video: Rihanna, 'Forgive Me'
Chris Brown, the controversial R&B singer, has finally released a public apology on YouTube aimed directly to Rihanna and his fans.
In the video he admits, with little believability, that what he did "is unacceptable, 100%." Chris Brown said that he wanted to apologize earlier but, in accordance with his lawyer's advice, did not.
The video serves as the first of Brown's planned public appearances in the month leading up to his sentencing next month.
The transcript of the statement reads,
“I wish I had the chance to live those few moments again, but unfortunately I cant… I’m not gonna sit here and make any excuses…. I take great pride in being able to exercise self-control and what I did was inexcusable. I’m very sad and very ashamed about what I’ve done. My mother and my spiritual teachers have taught me way better than that….
I have told Rihanna countless times and I’m telling you today that I’m truly truly sorry that I wasnt able to handle the situation better….I’ve spent a lot time soul searching, and I’m trying to understand what happened and why. No one is more disappointed in me than I am.
As many of you know, I grew up in a home where there was domestic violence, and I saw first-hand what uncontrolled rage can do. I’ve sought help to insure what occurred in February, can never happen again…I promise that.
What I did is unacceptable, 100%. I can only ask and pray that you forgive me, please.
I hope that others learn from my mistake. I intend to live my life so I am truly worthy of the term role model. Thank you.”
Check out the video and decide for yourself, but it seems too stiff to be genuine. Apparently he can sing, but she surely can't act and the video is a testament to that fact.

I think that people make mistakes hopefully he has learned from his. If people held all the stupid thing we all have done in our lives against us this would be a messed up world. If GOD can forgive us for the wrong we do who are we not forgive others. I'll keep him and Rihanna in my prayers.

Too little. Too late. "Inexcusable" is an understatement.

I don't think he is sincere while apologizing, Even if he is sincere he should have taught of it at first place. He has disappointed all of his fans. It's worth looking at this article. http://www.aircheese.com/article/apologies--chris-brown
