Chris Weitz, Director of New Moon, Says Eclipse is Steamy

New Moon Director Says David Slade's Eclipse is Going to be Steamy

Chris Weitz directed the popular Twilight second film New Moon, but he has read the script for Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight series to be released on June 30th 2010, and he says that Eclipse is going to be very steamy.

Weitz states that the scene he is most looking forward to is the sleeping bag scene between Edward, Bella and Jacob. This is the scene when the three characters are sleeping in a tent to keep Bella safe from Victoria, but due to how cold it is outside, Bella has to go sleep in a sleeping bag with Jacob as he is warm and Edward is too cold. This makes Edward so jealous and Jacob very happy as both men are in love with Bella and do not want to see her with the other.

"I'm looking forward to the sleeping bag scene, I gotta say," Weitz explained. "That's going to be very steamy."

There have been some Internet rumors that Chris Weitz is connected to the directing job of the fourth film, Breaking Dawn, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Eclipse: One of the Most Anticipated Movies of 2010

New Moon had a hugely successful release in 2009 and just as big an opening if not a bigger opening is expected for Eclipse in 2010.

Eclipse gets further in to the story between Edward and Bella and Jacob and includes more romance and fighting scenes and fans can barely wait until June 30th 2010.
