Christian Bale won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in The Fighter.
Many fans couldn't focus on what Christian Bale was saying during his 2011 Oscar Acceptance Speech, instead they were focusing on his crazy beard.
Why Did Christian Bale Have a Beard at the Oscars 2011?
It's not quite certain, but presumably Christian bale has the beard for a movie role. Bale is notorious for changing his look for a film. He lost huge amounts of weight for his roles in The Machinist and The Fighter.
Bale is set to starting filming The 13 Women of Nanjing.
A few weeks ago, Bale told CNN that his long hair had to do with "unemployment."
The Christian Bale beard was the butt of many jokes on Twitter.

I am guessing the beard is for ma movie by peter berg called Lone Survivor based on a book by Marcus Lutrell about Navy SEALs in Afghanistan. I think he will be playing Lt. Michael murphy in the film who won the Medal of honor in 2008 after his heroic actions in Afghanistan who also passed away

I'm certain he thought of his mom and sis, but couldn't thank them then chocked on his wife's name. I'm sure he blamed his wife when they got home and slapped her across the face. I think Christian and Charlie(dull)Sheen should get together.
