After relocating to the Arizona desert from the San Francisco Bay Area, famed pop-artist, musician and singer/songwriter, Ukulele Ray, was so taken by his new community, that he penned an anthem about the city and decided to give it, as a gift, to the city.
"I became ’Tempe-mental,’ and fell in love with the City of Tempe, Arizona," Ray said. "I was so inspired, 'Tempe Towne' came from my heart and experiences. That's why I decided to donate the song to the city and chamber to be used to help promote the city for arts, education, travel, shopping, dining, entertainment, sports and business."
In addition, according to Ray, 20% of the song’s internet sales will be donated to support music and arts in Tempe area schools.
"Tempe has touched me, and welcomed me with so much warmth (and we’re not talkin’ the afternoon heat)," Ray added. "I can only give back, the best way I know how... and that’s through music."
'Tempe Towne’ is one of Ukulele Ray’s new singles on his latest album, 'My Heart Belongs To Uke,’ and he will debut the theme song at the upcoming Tempe Music Festival March 28 and 29.

UkuleleRay, I think your story has potential but needs some improvement. I've got a few suggestions, and if you give them a try, I'd be happy to remove this flag.
I wasnt sure what was newsworthy in this story. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered.

Sorry ray, this is just looking for publicity! I do love ukuleles though!
