Coffee Party-Tea Party Lets Spend Some Time Together

While the Tea Party was straddling the fences and attracting a great many people something big happened. The Big Shots started getting confused? Many of them (Mostly the Republican Leadership in Congress) including Red Dog Democrats are thinking about long vacations. Preferably they hope to change their stripes to resemble the critters who hurl all kinds of angry epithets at them but alas it is too late. Enter now the Coffee Party.

The Coffee Party is similarly engaged at confusing the Big Shots but alas they too have an agenda. Simply stated the Coffee Party wishes to engage Tea Party enthusiasts with perhaps some constructive chatter. Imagine that! However there is always a beginning and from one particular Tea Party member I know (Who is a well known Surgeon) there just may be a chance such a get together and lets talk may succeed. One problem though. My friend is in the extreme minority of the greater make up of Tea Party revelers.

A great deal of evidence exists that the majority of Tea Party groups (loosely flung about as they may be) are just angry at everything. Many of these types live in communities where The ole Man beats the wife, she beats the kids, the kids beat each other and the dog. So whats the issue? A dysfunctional family.  In reality the issue is the Government running large Budget Deficits, making mandates which interfere with States rights, too many gendarmes at the Airports and climbing quickly on the list-the problems with their Toyotas.

Now if the Coffee Party (which has a great deal more diversity than the tea party) can come together-sit down and talk with One another and become a true Independent group some facts may emerge which either side may not wish to hear. For a great many Tea Party Sympathizers claim they do not wish to leave their children and Grand children in debt however-it took a long time for my Generation to pay off World War II and the Korean War. Thankfully we did not have too many off the books accounting mechanisms to hide debt then (Such as the Republicans smooth hi-jinks of Reconciliation matters during their time in power and a then President Bush who really got off on hiding the true costs of War and Tax Cuts for the wealthy-with a little help from all his friends-The Republican Leadership)

So the Discussion would have to be about shining the light of day on blatant lies and hypocrisy that is going on today by the Rightists in Politics and then would have to venture further to include the fairy tales written by the Hounds of all Bow Wows-those radio/Television hosts who make reams of money by dividing people and fostering fear and some of that may include Fox News (Views) and MSNBC.

The Tea Party/Coffee Party may have the courage to discuss the power of corruption in elective office and question one another about a possible solution for that and  all the  other issues. I mean lets face it folks. Health Care Reform is going to happen. So that's an issue both groups can take off the table today. The problems for the extreme right fringe is simply-The Health Care Reform is going to work but by then the spinach will have dried on their chins. So I say to both new far flung parties. Roll up you're sleeves and lets get to work. First stop on the Train- lets start talking instead of howling and mocking each other, That a real first step. And do not forget-anything can happen between now and November 2nd.
