Conan O'Brien "For Sale" On Craigslist After Show Ad's Success

Temporarily unemployed talk show host Conan O'Brien is once again turning to the powers of Internet to generate more publicity about the layoff of his Tonight Show from 11:35 PM prime time slot on NBC. Last Wednesday, a racy ad listing Tonight Show for sale turned up on Craigslist. In his recognizable snarky style, O'Brien offered his own "barely-used" talk show "4 sale" complete with a seven-month guarantee.

Yesterday, O'Brien went even further and put his "6'4'' completely ripped and very Caucasian" persona for sale on Craigslist.

Here is the full text of O'Brien's ad, for it would be a crime to try to re-phrase Conan.

- Tall, slender redhead available for nighttime recreation.

- 6’4”, completely ripped, VERY Caucasian.

- Drapes match the carpet.

- Currently homeless, must meet at your place.

- Can go a whole hour (with scheduled breaks every 7-10 minutes).

- Fatties welcome.

- Not afraid to take two people at once, and then a musical guest.

- NOTE: If you want me to perform after midnight, it'll cost you!

O'Brien said his first Craigslist ad generated thousands of offers, but did not disclose what kind of offers they were.

O'Brien's supporters are also looking up toward the Internet to help their favourite host. Yesterday, O'Brien's fans have teamed up on Facebook to hold the "I am with Coco" rallies in support of O'Brien in Chicago, Hollywood and New York City.
