Human Centipede Menorah: "Yes, I'm Going to Hell"
Conan O'Brien celebrated the first night of Hanukkah with something... unique: a Human Centipede menorah.
Nine actors clad in shiny jumpsuits, lined up face-to-ass, crawled onto Coco's stage, each with a giant electric candle on his back. With a "Happy first night of Hanukkah, everybody", Conan lit the first light before then sighing, "Yes, I'm going to Hell."
(Fortunately for Coco, Judaism doesn't have a Hell as does Christianity: it has a sort of purgatory called Gahenna/Gehinom.)
Guest Patton Oswalt tweeted, "Wow. Conan O'Brien just did the most disturbing, brilliant Hanukkah joke I've ever seen. Seriously, wow."
Overall, the Twitter reactions to the Human Centipede menorah seem to be positive: Conan's joke is insane and bizarre enough to not be considered offensive. The very idea of the Human Centipede is so fucked up, its own wrongness eclipses anything else to which it is (sorry) attached.
