Conservatives to Obama: More badges of flair!

There are plenty of legitimate things to say about Obama and every other nominee this season but fixating on badges of flair doesn't seem like one of them.

WASHINGTON - Sen. Barack Obama's refusal to wear an American flag lapel pin along with a photo of him not putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem led conservatives on Internet and in the media to question his patriotism.

Interesting, I didn't think you could get more patriotic than Obama, especially lately, but maybe not after reading this... plus I love that part in Office Space! "That's what the flair's about. It's about fun." Classic.

It always seemed to me kind of, well, redundant that President Bush wears a United States flag pin on his lapel. Does the President of the United States really need to wear the flag of the United States pinned on his chest? Eh, I'm being petty.
