'Courtney Love is Dead'' Singer Told NME Magazine as She Plans to be Called Courtney Michelle

Courtney Love is officially no more according to the Hole singer as she has decided to professional return to her first name and second name and will now only answer to the name Courtney Michelle. Her birth name is Courtney Michelle Harrison.

She made the announcement that Courtney Love is dead in NME magazine on newsstands now:

"Courtney Love is dead," she told Britain's NME magazine. "We've all decided we don't like her anymore. We love her when she goes onstage, but I don't need her in the rest of my life."

Courtney said that the name Courtney Love was a way to oppress her and she is not having any of it anymore.

However, she will still be going on tour under the name Courtney Love this summer as she has just released an album called Nobody's Daughter and her tour and media for the tour have already been announced.

In the new issue of NME Magazine Courtney Michelle reveals that she considered committing suicide just last week and she told them that her new album is the last thing left in her life, considering her daughter has now disowned her.

The singer is known for her eccentric behavior and what some would call her constant need to be in the spotlight. No one is sure if her new name will stick, but Courtney Michelle seems to be determined that it will, but no word on how fans feel about it.
