A tourism week, entitled “Thang Long-Hanoi Craft Villages, Craft Streets”, will begin at the Hanoi Ancient Citadel from April 29.

According to the organising board, thirteen craft streets from Hanoi’s Old Quarter and 20 craft villages from across the nation will participate in the event.

Of the craft villages showcasing their unique products include Bat Trang and Chu Dau pottery villages, Van Phuc silk village, Dong Xam silver carving village and Doi Tam drum village.

During the week, the citadel will also host activities to promote the culture and beauty of popular sites in Hanoi.
