Tim Urban Sang Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love for his American Idol Performance on March 23

Under the direction of Miley Cyrus, Tim Urban (whom she said has gotten a bad rap because he has a boring personality), Tim Urban sang a version of Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love on Tuesday night's show, and although he may have wowed the young girls in the audience he did not wow the judges in the same way. VoicesofIdol has a video of the performance.

Tim Urban did seem a little nervous during his performance, but after Randy asked him if he had a good time on stage, he told him the best part of the performance was the slide he did across the stage.

Even Ellen DeGeneres did not have much good to say, calling the performance an 'audition for High School Musical.'

"It was corny. It was pushed too hard." She notes that a large group of people will love the performance -- and they the ones being squealing from the back -- "and then there's me."

Kara affirmed how much little girls in the audience will love it, when she said it was a combination of Zac Efron and Hairspray.

Simon as usual was the harshest, when he said that Urban had no chance of winning and said:

"It was completely and utterly pointless and silly."

They definitely liked it less than Michael Lynche's performance.

Kara was too harsh on Tim! How dare she tell Tim about grabbing the audience and saying he's not established yet.. he's not there yet blah blah. SO what???! They always talk about connection and using the stage etc, so why can't he? She doesn't have the right to tell that! It's so annoying hearing that from her, so unfair and discriminating! You're not a big star too Kara! You're not there yet either! You're only a new judge so try to be more tactful and constructive!
