Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and India elected to field first in the 3rd ODI against England being played in Ranchi. India have kept the same side from the Kochi win while England have brought in Tim Bresnan to replace Chris Woakes.

India and England go head-to-head with an eye on the lead in the keenly contested series till now. While England shocked the Men in Blue in Rajkot, MS Dhoni and boys came back hard in Kochi.

The match is the first ODI in Ranchi and Indian skipper will be the cynosure of all eyes no doubt. He has also been in prime form despite all the other members going through ups and downs, on and off.

England on the other hand will be looking to Alastair Cook yet again after a rough decision got him out in Kochi. Even Kevin Pietersen has looked good but will have to stick in the middle a bit more. Eoin Morgan would be another one who would look to bide his time at the crease to get into some runs. The visitors will probably have to replace the 'Jade'd Dernbach while other bowlers have done decently.

India will be looking to stick to their winning combination although Gautam Gambhir has been given an extended run now and not impressed too much. R Ashwin too will look to improve on his bowling which has been on the downward spiral for sometime now.
