After winning the toss, India squandered away a solid start by their openers. Sehwag and Gambhir looked good till they lasted. Sachin Tendulkar struggled a bit at the start, but came out looking extremely fluent after Tea. There was much speculation regarding the pitch and though it has kept low at times and played a bit slow, it was England's frontline seamer James Anderson who has been the best bowler on display today. He got the old ball to speak and picked up Tendulkar and Kohli. Panesar bowled tirelessly and had two wickets to show for it, while Swann had just one. India's hopes rest on Dhoni and they will look to put up at least 350.
