D12: 'Let me hear you make some noise if you're...

...Popping PILLS'. 

Call me conservative, orthodox or old fashioned (if possible at 19) but there's always something disturbing when you are in a club with girlfriends and you hear D12 gearing up the audience, asking to,  'make some noise if you're popping pills'. Something more disturbing were the many cheerful replies.

Eminem's creation, D12 performed Friday 3 April at club Herbal, in Shoreditch, London. The club held a hip hop night. The night was great, no unwanted groping, the staff were friendly, good DJs...and then the 'Purple Pills' singers performed and my regretful stereotype of hip hop promoting drugs/guns/violence felt affirmed.

I realise everyone in the club was over 18, but I cannot get my head around why consumption of illegal substances needs to be shared and celebrated in such a way.
