If you haven’t heard yet Disney is set to remake the 1982 cult film ‘Tron‘.

The film, which is set for release in 2011, will be directed by Joseph Kosinski.

It has now been revealed that dance duo Daft Punk have been choosen to record the soundtrack for the remake.

The forthcoming film is set to star Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett.

This will be the duo’s first major work since their 2005 album ‘Human After All‘.
