Dance! - my new flickr set on dancing in the Americas
The Americas host many different cultures on its vast territory. I have been able to travel through many different countries in the Americas and photograph many different cultural activities. One of the activities that showcases cultural diversity the most is dancing.
I recently attended the Hispanic Leadership Conference from Intel, in San José, California. In the conference, one of the cultural aspects that was highlighted was the music, with a strong focus on Salsa. On this new flickr set I am showcasing the pictures from that event as well as many other pictures on dancing in different countries in the Americas.
Here is a list of the different cultures showcased:
- Amazon Indian dancers
- Salsa dancers in California
- Belly dancers in Brasil
- Capoeira street dancers in Brasil
- Folkloric dancers in Colombia and Guatemala
- Tango dancers in Buenos Aires
- Disco Dancers in Brasil
You can find my new Dance! set here.

Ricardo Carreon, I think your story has potential but needs some improvement. I've got a few suggestions, and if you give them a try, I'd be happy to remove this flag. I wasn't sure what was newsworthy in this story. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered. Please review What Makes News News or check out our J-Tips for more help.
