Dancehall Sensation Serani For Trinidad Republic Day

JAMAICAN dancehall producer and artiste, Serani, will be featured in a concert in San Fernando, on the eve of Republic Day.

Serani – The Concert, will kick off on September 23, at the Club Sting from 12 midnight. Local fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a live performance of the hit maker as well as other talented well known local reggae artistes including Zebulun, Mr King, Prophet Benjamin and Positive.

The concert is being organised by Trini Style Entertainment in collaboration with Reggae Road Block All Stars.

Serani, the craftsman behind Sean Paul’s hit, “We Be Burning”; Tony Matterhorn’s “Dutty Wine”; Busy Signal’s “These Are the Days”; Bugle’s “Exercise”; Elephant Man’s “Willie Bounce”and Mavado’s international hit “Dying”, will perform many of his well known singles including “DOH”, “She Loves Me” and “Rising”, which are enjoying heavy rotation on radio stations regionally and internationally

Promotion Manager of Trini Style, Andre Rochford, said the venue will be transformed into San Fernando’s concert capital for the night. Patrons are urged to secure their tickets early for guaranteed entry.

“Serani is the most sort after entertainer of all time and now he is coming to Club Sting. It would be a big night for entertainment because we also have the best on the local reggae scene joining him,” Rochford said.

Serani’s vocals came to the public’s attention earlier this year through the Mavado hit “Dying”. The artiste is a member of the hit making trio Daseca and has been producing hit songs for a number of years. The rising dancehall singer has signed a two album deal with Japanese label, JVC Entertainment. The first album, entitled Serani — The Future, will be released exclusively in Japan next month. It will feature eleven tracks, including the chart topper “DOH” featuring Bugle “Stinkin’ Rich” and “She Loves Me”.
