Dancing in the streets - 2nd Fuse festival weekend
Last weekend Chatham got to taste Indian culture and this weekend Rochester got to taste a bit of dance. From ballet to break dance or… go shopping.
Sunny Saturday afternoon and sea of people – you couldn’t miss this. Regions’ best dance groups in Rochester showed their best.
High Street held the most of the event. Loads of acts but you had to see them all. Bhangra musicians probably caught a traffic and only now came straight from Chatham to wake up the city. The Floor Crusaders got the biggest attention. Catching beats and break dance – perfect recipe for Saturday afternoon.
A special stage was built opposite The Eagle tavern. Linked to traditional dances place attracted elderly crowd.
But Boley Hill car park was the noisiest and funniest place in the city. Different performances and big smiles on faces – you had to enjoy that. Amazing performances by local groups and top rated songs made it the top place.
But if you spent all afternoon in shops – blame yourself that missed so much. Well – not everything yet.
Rochester Castle gardens was the place for you. Danza Antiqua and Loved Up was there for you.
2nd weekend with Fuse festival in Medway – from workshops to street dances.
Come to Medway on 20th of June to catch the last festival events.
And remember – it’s all free
