Too soon, Dane Cook. Too soon. The su-fi-famous comedian cracked a few jokes about the Aurora movie theater shooting during a set at the Laugh Factory on Sunset Blvd. on July 26, 2012. You can hear audio of Dane Cook's performance in the video player below.

Dane Cook's Aurora-shooting routine: "So I heard that the guy came into the theater about 25 minutes into the movie. And I don’t know if you’ve seen the movie, the movie is pretty much a piece of crap. Yeah, spoiler alert! I know that if none of that would have happened, pretty sure that somebody in that theater, about 25 minutes in, realizing it was a piece of crap, was probably like ‘aah, fuckin' shoot me!"

This is why people keep calling Dane Cook a douchebag. 12 people died in the Aurora shooting, and 58 more were injured. How soon is too soon? Well, the shooting took place on July 20, and Cook's routine was on the 26th. So, less than a week. That's too soon, as evidenced by the groans coming from the audience.
