D'Angel Dispels New Rumours

Popular female DJ and estranged wife of the dancehall doctor, Beenie Man is once again embroiled in the Kingston town grapevine.

The city’s newest and hottest tabloid paper CHAT! reported that organizers of the Christian oriented “Spiritual Togetherness”, had cancelled a booking with D’Angel for the June 29th staging of the annual event.

The story which made the front page of last Fridays chat, stated that the events coordinators had booked D’ Angel for the event but overturned their decision on the premise that D’Angel did not properly represent the events format.

However reliable sources close to D’Angel denied that the female DJ was ever booked for the event, and this was later confirmed by a press release issued late last night from D’Angels’ camp, stating that she was never booked for the event.

D’Angel reassured her fans that she will be appearing on other events this summer including the high anticipated Reggae Sumfest 2008.
