At a recent flat-party Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe was photographed smoking some herbs of an illegal, or decriminalized depending on jurisdiction, variety. The party was at the flat of Radcliffe's off-and-on girlfriend, actress Laura O'Toole; fellow partygoers said Radcliffe was laughing the whole time as he toked the night away.

Harry Potter idol Daniel Radcliffe laughed his head off as he smoked pot at a party.

Dopey Daniel, 20, even wandered about the house-warming bash, babbling to other partygoers: I love weed.

And the star who has spoken about shunning drugs  was so out of it he let a girl scrawl all over his face with a pen.

In the photograph, not only is Radcliffe smoking weed but, while doing so, he has a moustache sharpied on his face, looking foolish yet content. Apparently O'Toole pulled a Bill Clinton and "didn't inhale" as she was sober enough to realize how potentially devastating Radcliffe's toking could be to his career if photographed so she checked attendee's phones for pictures but found none. Well, I guess she didn't check everyone's phones judging from the photo of Radcliffe splashed on the cover of today's Daily Mirror.

What do you think? Is cannabis so bad to the point that role models should not partake in it, at least publicly, or do over-protective parents put too much weight on the drug?
