Is David Tyree Right About Same-Sex Marriage As Anarchy?

Including homosexuals in the institution of marriage, expands the categories to include the coupling of a man and a man, a woman and a woman, as well as changed sex individuals, with the gender of their choice, and perhaps other categories that don't yet come to mind.  Thereby changing marriage from an institution that protects the relationship and the offspring, of a man and a woman, who have entered into a socially sanctioned, personal and sexual partnership — into something undefined . . .

Also, the characteristics of the parties to a marriage would become unknown.  A wife could be a woman, or not; and a man may or may not be a husband.  Who, how and under what conditions one would be a husband or wife, is a mystery not yet solved.

Parents would no longer consist of a mother and father but rather, two fathers, or two mothers; or a changed sex person, partnering with either one.  Besides, babies would not necessarily be born of a woman, but perhaps a man who used to be a woman, but who wants to be called father; or a woman, who used to be a man, will supply the sperm, for the children she will eventually nurse

And we don't know how homosexual relationships translate to child rearing, which is of great significant to our culture since, homosexual relationships are barren, and homosexuals would be dependent on the community to provide them with children.

So far we know that children raised by openly gay parents are more likely to become openly gay themselves, which is a common sense propositions since, children imitate the influential adults in their lives.  However, the disturbing feature to this fact is that homosexuals, more than others, suffer from "mental illness, substance abuse, suicidal tendencies, and a shortened life spans."

In addition, homosexual marriage poses a challenges to religion.  Every religion elevates marriage as a noble state, while condemning homosexual practices, but by making homosexual relationships eligible for marriage, we are, by inference, including homosexual practices in marriage.

Finally, homosexual marriage initiatives have been accompanied by aggressive efforts to introduce children to homosexual practices.  A side-effect is that American children are being saturated with sexual images, ideas, and practices, causing children from normal homes to have experiences like those of children who are the product of sexual molestation, parental seduction and incest.  Also, the effort to expose children to homosexual practices involves using school staff to "educate" children about sexual practices, this creates a condition that can titillate sexual interest in vulnerable adults who may violate, or otherwise sexualize children.  Ultimately, premature, and inappropriate, exposure to sexual ideas, encourages children to act out, which may explain the new trend of adolescent girls sexually servicing boys.

Unlike interracial marriage, which merely allows people the freedom to choose their marriage partners, without regard for race, but does not change the institution of marriage; homosexual marriage redefines marriage to include participants, practices, and consequences, that are not yet known.

If homosexual relationships become eligible to marry, the society's understanding of religion; child placement; education and custody; parents and parenting; culture and tradition; marital roles and descriptions; will be in a state of chaos — which is the definition of anarchy . . .
