Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test Day 4 Live Streaming 19 March 2013
Sitting at 2-143 in their second innings with 10 overs to spare, Bangladesh lost two wickets in two balls at the hands of Sri Lankan spinner Rangana Herath and finished the day on 4-158 - a lead of 52 runs after dismissing the home side for 340 earlier in the day.
Resuming at 6-294 on day three, Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara (139) added 12 to his overnight score while Nuwan Kulasekara hit 22 off 75 balls before being caught behind at the end of the innings.
The rearguard action helped the home side establish a first-innings lead of 106 runs in reply to Bangladesh's 240.
The Bangladeshis spread the wickets out with Sohag Gazi (3-111), Rubel Hossain (2-45) and Robiul Islam (2-52) the best of the bowlers.
Bangladesh's second innings got off to a solid start with a 91-run opening stand between Tamim Iqbal (59) and Juhurul Islam (48) eating away most of the deficit before Iqbal was bowled by Shaminda Eranga and third-drop Mohammed Ashraful (4) fell soon after.
Islam and Mominul Hague (36 not out) steadied the innings before Herath struck twice, bowling the opener and Mahmudullah in consecutive balls to tilt the game in Sri Lanka's favour.
Also taking the wicket of Ashraful, Herath was impressive in picking up 3-45 from his 23 overs, troubling the Bangladeshi batsmen with his turn and bounce.
Hague and Mushfiqur Rahim (seven not out) will resume on Tuesday hoping to push Bangladesh's lead above 200 to give them a chance of bowling out the Sri Lankans on the last day.
