The Death of Michael Jackson... ...A Grammy made in his likeness
Following the passing of the King of Pop (Michael Jackson) on Wednesday morning I struggled to put together a tribute that was both creative and heart-felt.
Micheal's career boarderd on the insane {13 Grammy's, Countless #1 Hits (13) and one sequined glove} and his personal life leaped from logic and defied common sense.
Rather then attemptng to capture my emotions in an article I've decided to share the online conversation I had this afternoon with my partner where she informed me of the somber news.
The following conversation is a word for word account of just how I reacted to the news
Sliced Bread say:
Yeah everyone's Facebook has it on their status...I thought they were just joking but it must be true...he's dead!!!
I say:
The world will miss M.J.
Sliced Bread say:
yep...I'm shocked!!!I can't believe it...so sad...
I say:
that's why he's (M.J.) been in my head lately
Sliced Bread says:
I was thinking that you made a little YouTube montage devoted to him last week
Sliced Bread says:
did'nt think I would hear that till I was like 60
I say:
dance-floors everywhere breath a sigh of relief
Sliced Bread say:
jokes
I say:
they should re-design the Grammy Award in his likeness
Slice Bread says:
that would be cool, unfortunate some will only remember his recent claims and not his talent for stirring souls through music and dance
I say:
Yeah...Well people will forget, even if for only a short time
Sliced Bread says:
I hope so someone has already posted inappropriate shit on Facebook that...
Sliced Bread says: ...
children all over breath a sigh of relief...kind of funny, you used the exact same words
