A Scene From New Moon Between Edward and Bella Not Shown in Theatres Has Been Released

Just a few days before the release of New Moon on DVD, DailyMotion has got their hands on a deleted scene between Edward and Bella and it takes place after Bella's birthday party where she cuts herself and Jasper tries to attack her.

In this scene we get a glimpse of Edward angry and frustrated at the fact that he loves Bella yet he lusts after her blood at every opportunity and smelling her fresh blood on the carpet of his house was almost too much for him to bear. Watch the deleted scene between Edward and Bella.

Breakdown of the Scene

The scene begins with Edward driving Bella home at night.

Bella looks over at Edward and says "say something."

"What do you want me to say?" Edward asks.

"That I'm a total klutz but it's ok" she says. "Things will go back to normal."

"Normal people get paper cuts" says Edward. "If you were at a normal party it would have come down to a band-aid. If I were a normal boyfriend, I wouldn't have to fight the urge to kill you."

"Stop" says Bella. "I don't want normal. I want you."

What did you think about the scene? Worth including in the movie or not?

every scene intended and written should be included... it's a good concept for a scene, though not original, and should have not been cut. i'm a completest. i don't even know this film series ;-) why cut the scene? time? bad reasoning for me.

The modern Solaris film should be recut to include all the cuts made for time. that film screams for a recut. many films do.

Dune: The Third Stage Edition was a fan-edited attempt to bring the film up to completion and is the best edit i've seen. Even David Lynch might approve. i'd rather he did a director's cut and finished it off HIS way, though... lots of politics in filmmaking...
