Demi Lovato Says She's Excited to Get Back to Work
She recently checked out a treatment center to deal with personal issues, but Demi Lovato has just revealed that she's already back to work again - and couldn't be more excited about it.
The 18-year-old took to Twitter yesterday, letting fans know that she's back in the game by writing, "First day back to working. I can't wait to share with you guys what I'm doing today. It's a big day for me. So excited! I love you all!!!"
While Demi didn't say what she was doing, she did reveal whom she was doing it with. "Wow what a very long but successful day today!! I'm SO blessed to have my friend @Alexavega with me ALL day for support!" she wrote, tweeting a photo of her and the "Spy Kids" star together.
Earlier this month, Lovato teased a new project in a similarly mysterious way, not getting into the specifics of what she was planning next. "I wanted to let you guys know that I'm excited to get back to work. I can't wait to tell you guys what the future holds. I can't wait to see you in person. I love you all and I couldn't have done this without you."
And while most teenage girls get tattoos as acts of rebellion, Demi Lovato says her new ink is more about remembering the love her fans have shown her.
The "Camp Rock" chick credits her loyal followers for supporting her "through the darkest time of my life."
She explained, "The journey that I went through and the support of my fans was so meaningful to me that I wanted to thank my fans in a way that I know can never be forgotten. So I went ahead and I got a little heart tattoo on my wrist."
"It's something that my fans were actually drawing on their wrists while I was still in treatment. Some people even got tattoos of it, so I wanted to show you guys that I will never forget the support that you guys gave me. I will look at it every day and remember you guys and be completely thankful for you."
Last week (March 14) Miss Lovato was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport after making her way back to the west coast.
The "Sonny with a Chance" star looked lovely as she strolled through the terminal, though it appears she sprained her ankle as she was wearing a brace.
And despite the fact that she works for the Disney corporation, Demi was seen enjoying some time at competitor Six Flags Over Texas on Sunday (March 13).
