Aw, c'mon. The Cher death hoax had barely started when all of a sudden a Demi Moore death hoax started making the rounds on Friday, January 27, 2012.

Some online pranksters started an "RIP Demi Moore" trending topic on Twitter, trying to lead people into thinking the troubled actress was dead.

Is Demi Moore Dead?

Uh, no. By all accounts, Demi Moore is alive. Unlike the Cher death hoax that has been making the rounds, the Demi Moore death death hoax at least makes some sense.

The actress was hospitalized earlier this week for substance abuse problems. Some suggested that her hospitalization had to do with anorexia while others suggested it may have had something to do with nitrous oxide.

Whatever happened, Demi Moore is not dead.
