Dexter Season 7 Might Be Pretty Good

Here's the trailer for Dexter S07. Unlike Season 6, Season 7 of Dexter might be pretty good. Gone is the forced, played-out religious mumbo jumbo. Instead we get holy-shit-Deb-knows-about-Dexter. I can live with that.

Now we have the Morgan siblings against the world, it would seem, but how long will that last? Especially as Debra begins to connect Dexter with the Bay Harbor Butcher case... and the Ice Truck Killer.

The last officer at Miami Metro to learn Dexter's deadly secret was Doakes, and we all know how that turned out.

Can Dexter remain vital in a seventh season? I hope so, because Season 6 was crap: a total waste of Mos Def and Edward James Olmos. The kills also got pretty lame, and Dexter started getting lazy. That's not gonna fly anymore.

If Dexter does its job right, we should genuinely worry that Dexter will kill Debra. So far, though, he's been getting more "human" with each season. It's time for an about-face for our favorite anti-hero.

Here's the Season 7 trailer, which gets into spoiler territory right away as we see what happens immediately after Debra catches Dexter red-handed at the end of Season 6.
