Is Lola going to be the permanent new name for Jennifer Lopez? Not exactly. It is merely an alter ego that Jennifer Lopez had donned for her new single, "Fresh out of the Oven," produced by the Neptunes.

A website which debuted today, WhoisLola.com, was designed to promote Lopez' new material under her Lola alias. The website doesn't really give too much information about the Lola persona, but it does have music by Lola for download.

“Definitely something very, very sexy,” Pit said of the new song. “Produced by Pharrell, look out for it. It’s kind of like Eyes Wide Shut.”

It is not known yet if Jennifer Lopez will record more material under the Lola character. So far, her publicist has said that, "there won’t be anything to do with Lola on her Love? album". Love? is the name of Jennifer Lopez new album dropping in January.

“Lola is just for this song, it’s not her ongoing persona,” says a source close to the singer. “It’s something fun. She hasn’t become Sasha Fierce [Beyoncé's artistic alter ego]. There won’t be anything to do with Lola on her Love? album.”
