Diddy halts private jet flights over fuel prices

According to this video posted on YouTube, Sean 'Diddy' Combs has stated that he will not be flying his private jet anymore.

However, in the comments section of the video, he (or whoever mans his YouTube blog) says it is a joke.

So, what to believe about this?

Sean "Diddy" Combs complained about the "... too high" price of gas and pleaded for free oil from his "Saudi Arabia brothers and sisters" in a YouTube video posted Wednesday. The hip-hop mogul said he is now flying on commercial airlines instead of in private jets, which Combs said had previously cost him $200,000 and up for a roundtrip between New York and Los Angeles.

"I'm actually flying commercial," Diddy said before walking onto an airplane, sitting in a first-class seat and flashing his boarding pass to the camera. "That's how high gas prices are. I'm at the gate right now. This is really happening, proof gas prices are too high. Tell whoever the next president is we need to bring gas prices down."

amyjudd, I like this story. It's good stuff. this is actually good stuff, if DIDDY is complaining it lends foundation for the rest of us poor wretches to complain about the gas prices, WHEW!!!

I can totally relate to Mr. Diddy. I can't afford to fuel up my jet either - aka my 1993 Ford Tempo, so instead, I have to fly first class a lot more - aka, walk the 4 miles to work daily.
Time to go eat my caviar and lobster, I mean, my Kraft Dinner.

Diddy Pops Bottles of Ciroc @ Club Dream in Atlanta GA with friends Guests include Diddys Ciroc Vodka Models. Who knew that just a few months later he would opt to Ground his private jets due to rising fuel costs.

the price of gas is soooo highhhh, i gave up visiting my fiancee Christiane who lives in Chicoutimi (north of Quebec City), and am trying to find a local one in my commowealth state (Ky). Diddy, can I get your airmiles points !
