LONDON: French-Canadian chanteuse Celine Dion is responsible for the world's worst cover version - a rendition of rocker's AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" duet with Anastasia (Live Divas Las Vegas) Dion has never released  the song in a single but performed on what the magazine called the "offense" against music at a Las Vegas concert six years ago.

   "The number one worst cover song, Celine Dion/Anastacia covering AC/DC You Shook Me All Night Long."

    In second place was a Sugababes and Girls Aloud version of Aerosmith and Run DMC's "Walk This Way," followed by Westlife's version of Extreme's "More Than Words." 

    Jimi Hendrix's version of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" was voted the best cover, followed by The Beatles' "Twist and Shout," which was first recorded by The Top Notes.

          Guns N' Roses' "Live and Let Die" (Wings); Nirvana's "The Man Who Sold The World" (David Bowie); "Feeling Good" by Muse (Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse) also featured in the top five. (source: NEWSMAKERS/ARAB NEWS/Mon June23, 2008)
