Disney Stars Act Like High School Girls!

In news that is not shocking at all, 16-year-old Miley Cyrus and 17-year-old best bud, Demi Lovato were acting like immature high school girls on Twitter this week. You may have heard or read recently that Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter because her boyfriend asked her. That's what her publicist wants you to believe. The truth is that she started a Twitter feud with Selena Gomez, the 17-year-old star of Wizards on Waverly Place. Gomez, the only mature one at Disney, avoided any replies but that didn't stop Cyrus from ripping her a new one.

This feud goes back a few years. Once upon a time, Miley Cyrus dated Nick Jonas. They were the IT teen couple. Then one day he decided to add some Latin spice to his life and dumped Cyrus for Gomez. Cyrus responded by mocking Gomez on YouTube and writing her 2008 single, 7 Things, for Jonas. All seemed calm in teen world after that.

That is...till early this year. Lovato, the chick from Camp Rock, who was best friends with Gomez started hanging out with Cyrus. This was because she was dating Cyrus' brother, Trace, whose in the band Metro Station. They're no longer dating. She's now dating a 24-year-old photographer. That's right. 24! But her friendship with Cyrus didn't end. However, her friendship with Gomez did. And this week, as Gomez is out promoting her debut album, Kiss & Tell, started dissing her on Twitter along with Cyrus. It got so crazy that two of Gomez's cousins and one of her co-star on Wizards had to defend her. All the bickering led to Cyrus deleting her Twitter. Whether it was her publicist or someone at Disney we won't know for now. Either way she had to save herself from another public embarrasement. Her latest single, Party in the USA, is currently #2 on the billboard hot 100 and she has a movie coming out in April. So, Disney can't have their #1 star acting like, you know, a high school girl.
