Disturbingly Skinny Models on Paris Haute Couture Runways

While
reviewing Paris Haute Couture Fashion week photos, some literally
striked me and required some time to digest. It wasn' t about the
avangard shapes or bold colors; it was about some of the models the
clothes were “hanging” on.

With all the buzz going around skinny models these
days and designers that ban those who are too skinny, you would expect
Armani and Valentino – the biggest names in business – will support the
“healthy” trend. Apparently not.

I was truly sad to see these two design geniuses
promote the unhealthy body image. I cannot even grasp how someone could
be focused on the clothes on these photos. The images are too
disturbing to look!

With all my expectations and excitement for the
New York fashion week opening in a few days, I really hope these
“haute” looks will be absent from the runways.
