Don Imus Has Stage 2 Prostate Cancer

Radio host Don Imus, infamous for the "nappy-headed ho's" comments which got him fired from NBC in 2007 and who has since returned to radio, has revealed that he has stage 2 rostate cancer.

The controversial radio host Don Imus announced that he is battling stage II prostate cancer on his radio show on Monday morning, CBS 2 HD has learned.

He said he wrestled with the idea of making it public, but figured he should because he might have to miss some work due to treatment.

Imus, 68, hosted a morning talk show for almost 30 years before he was fired by CBS Corp. in April 2007 for racially charged remarks about the Rutgers University women’s basketball team.
