DPS Building the Nation, Creating the Future of India
One of the most Nobel professions is that of Teacher, Perhaps the best in the world where you get the chance to build the nation and the future under one umbrella.
There are many such school and eminent teachers who are working towards making this world a better place to be filled with civilized people and future citizen of the country.
India is not out of this context either. We have a strong history of education and famous teachers in equally famous university and Gurukul. Nalanda, Takhashila if the names of past ISI,IIT,IIM,ISc, AIMS are the pillars of Modern India and her education legacy.
But perhaps the school and primary teachers are the place where this great university’s future students are developed, base of India is prepared.
We have chance to see how young India is getting ready for tomorrow at Eastern Zone Cultural Centre ,Salt Lake, Kolkata, India on 26th Jun 2011 during the foundation day ceremony of one of the Delhi Public School Branch name DPS Megacity Kolkata.
The morning was cloudy and dim sunlight has been compensated well inside by the colourful activity of the Kids of class II to V.
The way whole cultural programme was arranged as if it was a true national integration demonstration by the people of all walks of life.
The day started with the inaugural speech of the acclaimed principal of the School Mrs. Indrani Sanyal followed by the speech of Honourable School Education Minister of Government of West Bengal Mr. Raviranjan Chatterjee, other dignitaries present were high official of Police, DPS pro-vice chancellor.
The program started with Rabindra Nath Tagore drama “Pujar Saaz” well directed well acted presentation touched the heart of the people more so of the parents and school teachers.
Dance form of Assam,Bengal,Classical, Garva,Rajasthani , Jammu & Kashmir followed by South Indian Classical Bharat Natyam.
We must say Hats of to the teachers and the organizers for their effort to bring out such a nice Cultural & Dance presentation from the Child of age group 6-9 years.
An equally well played Tabla show by the student in Farukhabad Gharana was some to cherish.
When we concluded the program a feeling of self content and tears in eyes of the parents and audience told the untold story that; India united we stand divided we fall.
Our GenNext is getting ready to meet the world on their own stride.
All the best to the teacher of DPS Megacity Kolkata and other schools like that for developing the Nation to her fullest contrast and color.
