Dr. Brian Wofford Faces Extreme Makeover Home Forclosure

Dr. Brian Wofford, a recipient of a new house courtesy of ABC's Extreme Makeover - Home Edition is facing foreclosure due to his failure to finance the mortgage attached. Wofford is still thankful for the makeover despite his children saying that the mortgage stress is wearing him thin. "I've never seen him more worried in my life, other than when my mom passed," said Bekah Wofford.

"It's been a great, great blessing," said Wofford.However, the blessing turned into a nightmare two years ago when the mortgage crisis that crippled millions of Americans also hit the Woffords. Their mortgage adjusted and Wofford's chiropractic clinic was not making enough."A lot of people think when you get the house you get the mortgage. Well, you don't," said Wofford.

Dr. Wofford has been trying to modify his mortgage numerous times but has continuously been denied. If his last attempt fails the Extreme Makeover Home will be auctioned on December 14th.

This is the second house that had an Extreme Makeover that has faced foreclosure.
