Clash of the Titans, a remake of the Ray Harryhausen classic from 1981, opened in theaters on Thursday night at 8pm. It grossed $4.2 million.

Meanwhile, last week's champ, How to Train Your Dragon, which had most of the day as a head start, grossed $5.2 million.

Both films are sharing 3D screens. Although only How to Train Your Dragon is in IMAX. How to Train Your Dragon has grossed $63.1 million so far.

Miley Cyrus' The Last Song, which opened on Wednesday at #1 with $5.1 million, grossed $4.2 million yesterday. Its total so far is $9.3 million.

Another Disney movie, Alice in Wonderland, is still holding on after nearly a month in release. It grossed $2 million and has passed the $300 million mark. It's the first 2010 film to do so. Its worldwide total is $664.5 million.

Opening today is Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too?. Perry's movies tend to do well in the African-American community, but this weekend is so crowded it might struggle.
