Dreams and Visions is a book by Dr Shamaela Munir that aims to create disability awareness throughout the world by recounting the story of Dr Munir’s younger brother, Ali. Ali suffers from disabilities, and this has inspired Dr Munir not only to write the book, but to create the VisionAli Awareness Campaign. VisionAli is a non-profit organisation that aims to raise awareness of people with disabilities in order to enable others to understand and acknowledge disability without the stigma and prejudice that can sometimes be attached to it.
