John Lennon stirred much controversy when, during an interview July 29, 1966, he stated that the Beatles were “more popular than Jesus.” Beatles concerts were canceled, and Americans staged public burnings of Beatles’ records and memorabilia. Today, another media personality seems to be getting away with making similarly blasphemous statements. She is Oprah Winfrey.
Don’t Drink The Kool-Aid: Volume I, a DVD by author and producer Carrington Steele, has recently been released and exposes both statements made by Winfrey and her intention to spread her own brand of gospel in league with Eckhart Tolle, author of A New Earth, and Dr. Brian Weiss, author of Many Lives, Many Masters.
Forty-five minutes in length, Don’t Drink The Kool-Aid: Volume I investigates the recent news coverage and the unusual phenomenon that propelled another video, The Church of Oprah Exposed, to over 6.5 million views. The DVD also clearly exposes the difference between what Winfrey says and what constitutes her underlying agenda.
