If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

America has seen no greater demonstrations than those protested by her black citizens throughout the course of her years. While superficially these protests have appeared to be to get the oppressive regime of the white man understand righteousness, at their core they have been cries to God against the white mans 's unrighteousness. In times past, against the face of the often smiling yet brutally oppressive white man,  blacks have cried out to God for the end of: slavery, segregation and white laws that violate black dignity. Never before , though, have black people unified and cried out for God to destroy America.

"He may not be there when you want him, but He's right on time."

The quote above is a popular one in the black church. While many brothers & sisters are saying "God Damn America Day"  is long overdue, I say the day's  right on time. Blacks have had to learn how to fight the oppressors and (continued)  oppression of the culture that continues to practice racism against us.
