Eclipse Premiere: Photos From the Red Carpet of the Eclipse Stars
The Eclipse Premiere Was Held Last Night in L.A. and All the Eclipse Stars Came Out to Welcome Their Fans
It is almost time for the third movie in one of the most anticipated movie franchises in history to come out, but some fans were lucky enough to be up close and personal with all the Twilight stars on the red carpet in L.A. on Wednesday night.
Eclipse is released in theatres June 30 and just like the other two movies before it, this installment is causing excitement, screaming and dreams of being bitten by your own personal Edward Cullen. The reviews for Eclipse have not been released yet, but judging from the fans in L.A., the reviews do not matter much. Some of them had been camped out for days on the red carpet.
"This is beyond insane. It's, like, ludicrous madness. You can't describe something like this," actor Justin Chon, who plays Eric in the "Twilight" series, told MTV News on the black carpet of the "Eclipse" premiere. "These are some of the most dedicated fans that you'll find on planet Earth."
Stephanie Meyer was herself was also at the premiere and even she had a hard time adjusting to the fans:
"I'm so not used to this," Meyer admitted when asked about the size and scope of the "Eclipse" premiere. "I only do this kind of thing once a year. The rest of the time, I am totally incognito. It's nice to be the author, let me tell you. It's so much easier than being the actor!"
Taylor Lautner described the entire event as 'incredible and exciting' and said Twilight fans are the most supportive fans in the world. Even Robert Pattinson said that 'anyone who says they are tired of this is completely crazy'.
Kristen Stewart agreed that the energy of the fans is what is most important:
"I feel like I'm one of them. I feel like we share the exact same passion for this thing, and it feels a little weird to be at the head of it, but it's cool."
