Eclipse Teaser Trailer Hits the Web

The teaser trailer for Eclipse, the third part of the Twilight saga, hit the web today.

The 90-second Eclipse Trailer will come out on Thursday, March 11, so Twi-hards must make do with this ten-second offering. The ultra-short teaser makes Taylor Lautner's character sound very creepy when he says to Kristen Stewart's character, "I'm going to fight for you until your heart stops beating". Okay, whatever.

No plot points are really revealed- after all, it's only ten seconds, but you get to see Bella and Edward lying down together, and Jacob without a shirt (which is apparently commonplace).

Twilight Fan Frenzy Continues

This quick offering will no doubt drive a fan frenzy, even though it's a trailer for a trailer, and the full-length Eclipse trailer will follow forty-eight hours later.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is scheduled for a June 30, 2010 release date in the US. A teenage girl will have to choose between a vampire and a werewolf, a choice which normally must be made a little further into adulthood.
