Elf Yourself 2008: Get in on the Christmas fun!

Last year I had a blast uploading images of friends and family and turning them into dancing elves at Elf Yourself. This year the Elf Yourself Internet phenomenon is back, even better than before, with new options and new songs. The new Elf Yourself 2008 site will be available to web users on November 17th, just in time for some silly Christmas season fun and joy. Rumour has it that this year you may even be able to Santa Yourself!
Elf Yourself 2008 opens its virtual doors with free fun for kids of all ages next Monday November 17th.
If you didn't try this before, you missed out on some fun. Toddlers and preschoolers will especially enjoy turning their picture or the family dog's photo into a dancing little elf.
All you have to do is upload up to five photos to elf character bodies, select one of the silly dance themes and hit play, ready to be entertained by singing and dancing elves! It's the perfect way to carry over the fun from the movie Elf, though the two aren't affiliated. If you haven't watched Elf with your kiddos, put it on your DVD rental list ASAP for laughs from everyone. It's my family's favorite holiday movie. We just watched it yesterday, as a matter of fact.
Elfing yourself can be more than just fun. You can use your dancing elves as a fun, free and enviro-friendly holiday cards too.
If you missed it before, here's what last year's Elf Yourself looked like. This year, I'm told, will have many more bells and whistles.

What a disappointment Elfyourself is this year!, last year was fun with plenty dance moves, this year is boring almost standstill stuff.

I think elfyourself sucks this year since you can't call and personalize the voice. Takes all the fun out of it. It just isn't funny or fun anymore. Bah Humbug.

Is anyone having trouble downloading the Adobe Flash ( New Version ) I have down loaded it 8 times but I still cant get the Elf Yourself to work, any ideas out there?

I'm having the same problem as Righty O. Other flash sites work just fine. I've tried different browsers, and un-installed and re-installed flash many times.

I'm having trouble uploading a new photo. It's the right size and will appear in the face box but it won't save. :(

elf yourself is different this year. Like photos posted with music playing. It is not dancy and bouncy like last year. It sux...anyone else experience this?

It is horrible to try to upload more than 2 photos without my computer crashing...I have shut down my computer 3 times and nothing is working...Don't even waste your time..I've never had computer problems this bad..and I go on alot of different stuff

This year's ElfYourself sucks. Last year was better, you could call in and make them talk. This year you have to pay to download, what a piece of crap.

you have to pay $4 to download something which has given many people a good laugh - whoopee do.
Damn you people are a miserable bunch - expecting everything for free and whining - I can pretty much guarantee that none of you have offered anything better yourselves to the online community.

Spent a half an hour uploading photos and when I went to email it to my family it said I was not eligible to register. I tried for or five times with different email addresses, passwords and birth dates! Elfyourself is not near as good this year as last years!

I've been trying for three days to get it to work. All I see is still photo's with some music playing in the background. My local tv station had it on this morning and THEY were able to show their elves dancing....just like last year. I don't know what they did differently to make it work; but I give up. Is there ANYONE that can tell us how to make the elves "dance". It's so disappointing.

I'm actually glad it didn't work for me... the creepy-factor couldn't dissuade me from giving it a go, though, so I was spared from looking into my own elfed-out face.

Im trying to get the elfyourself site to work also, everything will load right but when i click on the upload photos icon it does NOTHING. everything else I click on works. i can log in and i can click on created elves which there ARE NONE because i cant upload! and i can click on make elves but canNOT click on upload photos whats the deal?? it cant be adobe have the most recent version and everthing else works, Ive tried internet explorer,mozilla firefox,and netscape. NOTHING! WHAT CAN I DO? im getting very frustrated here.

I hope this comment section isn't like the Elf Yourself site. Dang!! My recent message hasn't been posted AND so I'll repeat myself. The creativity of Elf Yourself is great! The idea is wonderful, the technology needs to get up to speed or opt out. I've tried of over a week to send Elf Yourself and I get the "Oops" notice and/or it cancels me out and/or it doesn't send. MAJOR frustrations. Either get it together or don't do it . . .please.

Can someone help me, I go onto the website and click on "get started" and nothing happens, I have tried it at different times of the day and still the same problem, my niece went on without a problem, I can't even open the website to see cards from someone else. I have tried allowing pop-ups from that website and still, it doesn't go anywhere. Can you someone please reply to this post with possible suggestions to get the website to work on my PC? Thank you.

elf yourself sucks this year. Take a hint jib-jab! When something works don't mess with it. You could have grown into a bigger phenomenon this year had you have kept it the same. I'd pay a few bucks to download the elf yourself video I made last year if you could make it available again. Now, I won't even go to the website unless some major changes are made. And that place that advertises, ya know the office superstore, I won't buy my ink there anymore either. Ya'll lost business, I'm disappointed.
