Ellen DeGeneres Launches Ellen's Winter Win Storm Contest

Ellen DeGeneres has launched a contest to run throughout the following month called Ellen's Winter Win Storm. The contest runs throughout February and involves DeGeneres giving away various prize packs to her viewers who follow her website and her Twitter account @TheEllenShow. Degeneres launched the contest with a message to her Twitter followers today encouraging them to retweet for a chance to win a prize pack.

Ellen's Winter Win Storm will be giving away prize packs with a total worth of over $20,000. Prize packages including such things as PlayStation 3, spa packages, 42" HDTVs, and a Comfort bed will be given away. The Winter Win Storm will have a weekly prize pack giveaway.

DeGeneres got the Winter Win Storm contest going today when she tweeted to her foillowers offering them a chance to win some prizes. Fans of the "Ellen" show can follow her tweets or check out her website to answer a daily trivia question in order to be entered in to win a prize pack. DeGeneres in particular has developed an online following via her interactive website and her Twitter.

Dear Ellen, I have watched your show for years, you make me laugh and smile. I got sick in 2000 and now I can't work tell, I get a new heart. My boyfriend of 15 years works two jobs. We still have a hard time getting food for the month. We have maxed out credic cards just trying to keek food in the house. I go to the hospitle 3 times a week and he has to take off work to take me, because we only have one car. If you can help us god bless you. Dear Ellen, My name if Vicky Branan, live in Memphis, TN and have enjoyed your show from the beginning. I am living of SS disability with no hope of other income. Life is tough and your attitude is contagious, thanks. I drive a 1990 Lincoln Towncar which is not trustworthy so I only use it for physicians appointments and grocery store. My medical bills are huge but I am paying them of $5.00 per month. LOVE YOUR SHOW AND THE WAY YOU MAKE ME FEEL. I've heard that 30 minutes of laughter can help your physical health, thanks Dr. Ellen

Dear Ellen, Hi my name is elizabeth I watch your show every day. I sit and watch you, you make me feel great. I did not have a job for seven months, know I have a daycare I love it so much, I get to watch my grandsons. This is so great, but when I go for a walk , it is not a good think ,I have to carry Stasiu on my chest and Jay and Jack in my stroller, but this hurts me, my back, arms hurt me so my walks are very short. The strollers are to much money for me. So I watch your show and to win something to help me out. thanks for listening to me. I hope yous have a great day. Elizabeth
