Erin Andrews is Suing Marriott International and Radisson Hotels International After Video Peep Pictures Were Taken By Michael David Barrett

Erin Andrews is suing the hotels because she says they made it too easy for her stalker to obtain information about where she was staying and her room number, and as a result he was able to videotape her through the peephole.

In the lawsuit she also accuses Barrett of invading her privacy and intentionally inflicting emotional distress on her.

After Barrett was able to confirm Andrews was staying at the hotel and her room number, he was also able to book the room immediately adjacent to hers.

Erin Andrews said:

“Although I’ll never be able to fully erase the impact that this invasion of privacy has had upon me and my family, I do hope that my experience will cause the hospitality industry to be more vigilant in protecting its guests from the time they reserve a hotel room until they check out,” she said in a written statement.

She wants hotels to be held accountable for the personal safety of their guests so that this kind of incident cannot be allowed to happen again.
