Jazz singer and actress Estelle Reiner has died at the age of 94.
Reiner was the wife of writer/director Carl Reiner and mother of actor and director Rob Reiner.
Jazz singer and actress Estelle Reiner, wife of writer/director Carl Reiner, died on Saturday at the age of 94. The cause of death was not disclosed.Estelle, nee Lebost, is probably best remembered for her one line role in her son Rob Reiner's 1989 romantic comedy film, "When Harry Met Sally," wherein she said "I'll have what she's having" in reaction to Meg Ryan's character in a deli. She also appeared in the Anne Bancroft-directed film "Fatso" and in Mel Brooks' "To Be or Not to Be."
She also had four one-woman shows of her paintings in the 1970s. She became a jazz singer at the ripe age of 65. She performed in New York and Los Angeles clubs until the age of 93.
