European Spring Day 2009 in Gaspar Hain Elementary School in Levoca, Slovakia, has already become a tradition. Otherwise, not even this year. 

All the students and teachers from our school at the end of March chose their famous European football teams that will represent this year in a special project day. Then the preparation process started. The students created  PowerPoint presentations about the football teams, posters, football jerseys, and everything necessary for this project day. During the lessons of Ethic and Civic Education we discussed some important issues about the European Union. Some of them we found on the internet.  

 During the European Spring Day 2009 we were divided into two groups. The first group of students and teachers presented projects on "their" football clubs and the second team ran the football matches. Later, the groups exchanged. During the presentations, each class of students voted for the best presentation.

The winners of all the football matches was the 6thB class and the best made presentation was from the 8thA class.
