Ex-Porn Star Calls for Women to Stay Natural and Stay Away from the Porn Biz

Former porn star Tawny Peaks is currently on a campaign to show women it is better to stay natural, and to stay away from the porn industry. Suffering from long-term health problems as a result of her enormous breast implants, Peaks is adamant that young women love their natural bodies and stay healthy by avoiding cosmetic surgery. She is also urging them to stay away from the porn industry as a career.

Tawny Peaks was a rising star in the adult entertainment industry, gracing the cover of Playboy's Voluptuous Vixens in 1998, and headlining films like Big Busted Goddesses of Las Vegas and Voluptuous Vixens II. With early success, the rising star walked away from the business at the peak of her career looking for a fresh start that included getting married and starting a family.  Little did she know that her past would have a lasting impact on her body.

Shortly after her resignation from the adult entertainment industry, Tawny had a breast reduction to erase all signs of her former Voluptuous Vixen persona. Her implants, a whopping 38DDD, led to much mental suffering, as well as severe stress on her back and joints, which plagues her to this day.  She was even sued by a man claiming she had caused him bodily harm when he ran into her breast while on an outing with her family at a local amusement park.  There was only one option; remove the implants.  However, for some unexplained medical reason, her breasts grew back, only this time they were even larger than before. 

Eight years later, Tawny, a respectable mother of two, has painful memories of her former life. Initially, Tawny’s 38DDD bust made her a famous pinup girl, but by the age of 39, Tawny had already had both hips replaced and was suffering from chronic pain 24 hours a day, both of which were linked to the size of her breasts.

According to Dr. Anthony Youn, a board-certified plastic surgeon, “Studies show that women with excessive weight in the chest suffer with severe pain, deteriorating posture and are at risk for spinal deformity and other repetitive stress injuries.”
 
In an effort to provide some normalcy to Tawny, Dr. Youn will perform a breast reduction to remove the tissue that formed following the removal of her implants.    

“There are dozens of factors to keep in mind before going under the knife,” says Youn.  “It’s up to the consumer to educate themselves on all the pros and cons so they can make the best decision for themselves and their bodies.” 

Together, Dr. Youn and Tawny Peaks are speaking out about the health issues associated with receiving implants that are not proportionate to a female’s frame.  Together they can discuss:

• Potential long-term effects of breast implants

• Ways that young women can build a positive self-esteem as society forces the illusion of beauty
• [Tawny can] give advice to young women who are considering going into the adult industry, or those who are already on this career path, to show that there is a better life beyond
